URSA MAJOR

URSA MAJOR is a movement-based multidisciplinary arts and technology school and presenting space from T. Lang Dance. As both a learning space and creative venue, URSA MAJOR is devoted to imagination, embodied intelligence, and bold innovation surrounding the arts.

The school serves the youth, cultivating agency, cultural fluency, and world-building as essential tools for 21st-century life. The venue presents soul-stirring, boundary-pushing works by local, national, and international artists whose practices emerge from deeply rooted, ancestral, and future-forward traditions.

Together, the school and stage operate as one constellation; an ecosystem for experimentation, learning, and public engagement. At URSA MAJOR, movement becomes a language of becoming, and performance becomes a portal for collective insight, remembrance, and transformation.
